Choosing a Wedding Venue is the most important part of planning a wedding. It is important because the venue speaks volumes to the guests about what kind of a ceremony they are about to attend. You can use the same venue for both the wedding and the reception or you can use different ones. Timing is everything while choosing a venue because you will have to check the availability. Another important consideration is your budget. Apart from these, there are some other things that have to be looked into.

Before you start looking for a venue, it is important to decide the style for your wedding and what theme the wedding is going to follow. Envisioning your wedding ceremony really helps when making up your mind about the venue. The location that you choose depends on the theme and style of the wedding ceremony and the number of people you are going to invite. The location is important, because it is a significant part of what makes your wedding day a memorable one. So, before deciding on a location, you should look around and then decide from the several locations the one that goes best with your theme, and the way the ceremony is to be carried out.

If you want your plans to go smoothly, you should check beforehand if a particular location poses any restrictions or limitations. The decor of the venue also plays an important role and you should know how much you are allowed to change it. You should see if the Wedding Venue has any rooms or suites available for the guests to freshen up or get ready. In addition to that, dressing rooms should be available and there should be a safe room for storing presents or other materials.

An important thing is the catering. You should ask if you will get a caterer from the Wedding venue, or if you can bring your own. If you are using the caterer at the venue, you should decide what food items and beverages you want served at the ceremony and the reception. It is always better to check the different food and beverage samples. You should also specify if you want to order a special item from the caterer for the wedding. Another important question to ask the caterers is whether they’ll arrange the wine and champagne - or will you have to bring your own.

You should check if the Wedding Venue offers accommodation facilities, or whether there is accommodation available near the venue. If the venue offers accommodation, you should inquire about the time the guests would have to check out. You will also have to enquire as to whether the venue provides breakfast with accommodation.
There should be adequate Car parking for all the guests, and you should see if there is any transport available for picking up and dropping guests.
